The Parade Ground was a sports ground, hosting athletics, cycling, football, rugby and cricket. Barrow FC played on the Parade Ground and at Cavendish Park.

The ground, which stretched from Keith Street to Abbey Road, was built over in the 1890s with terraced housing. The Parade Ground is now the site of Barrow's fire station.
